The Retail Council of New York State’s experienced and respected government relations team delivers effective advocacy at the state and local level for merchants large and small. We work with our members to create and advance a comprehensive agenda, communicating the retail industry’s message to lawmakers, state and local agencies and the media.

I think it’s really important to have advocacy these days because there are a lot of challenges facing retail and brick-and-mortar stores. It can be a tough environment. I use online shopping as much as the next person, but retail is more than that. What the Retail Council is doing to support retail and small business is critical to a healthy marketplace.
